Africa Art at Eumundi Markets

Enthusiasts of African art can get a fix at Eumundi Markets from now on as we have a new pitch there!

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays Africa Art will be supplying the Sunshine Coast with Shona sculptures, batik wall-hangings and lots of other hand-carved works sourced from Zimbabwe.

Africa Art is particularly proud of its Shona sculptures, which have been hand-carved by the Shona people of Zimbabwe for at least a thousand years. African batik prints are very distinctive-looking as they are made with differing techniques to the more familiar Indonesian prints and add an earthy feel and look to interiors.

When and where

The market is open from 8.00am to 1.30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and from 7.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays. It’s easy to find as it’s located at 80, Memorial Drive, Eumundi QLD 4562. Parking is easy to find, too – on the corner of Albert Street and Napier Road.
